The BIMSE group has access to a large computing cluster and the team has expertise in virtualisation and containerisation.

Using this platform, the BIMSE group is able to develop both large-scale collaborative working environments, and microservices for carrying out specific processing tasks.

The BIMSE smart computing platform is currently accessible to the team for collaboratively developing:

• Ontologies for system architecture planning
• Taxonomies for IFC development
• Process maps for smart and integrated decision making

These development platforms are collaborative, and in many cases involve external partners for development of projects.

The BIMSE platform is currently used in many projects for undertaking critical research and development.
